With the upcoming publication of The High Court,  the Constitution and Australian Politics to be published by Cambridge University Press, and co-edited by Rosalind Dixon and George Williams, the Gilbert + Tobin Centre of Public Law will be holding a workshop on 7/8 November to gather together authors to present the early drafts of their chapters. The Workshop is design to discuss to what extent in the relevant period particular justices, or the HCA as a whole, were identifiably majoritarian, or counter-majoritarian, in their approach to constitutional decision-making, or developed the law in a direction that was inconsistent, or consistent, with the policies or priorities of the government of the day, or community attitudes more broadly
