Australian Bills of Rights: The ACT and Beyond

The conference surveyed the impact of the ACT Human Rights Act over the last year in the courts, legislature and the bureaucracy. It also looked at the proposed Charter of Human Rights and Responsibilities in Victoria, and at developments in other states and at the national level, and the comparative perspective from New Zealand. The day was aimed at both a legal and non-legal audience.
